“Each lighting system should be serviced every 3-6 months. This timing can depend on if you are using haze, how much is being used and what type it is. I like to look at this as the same as I would an oil change: Your lights will run if you don’t do maintenance, but you will be shortening their life by not taking care of them. It’s up to you.
Here is a standard maintenance checklist I go through after every rental I do. Again, how often you do this is based on your circumstances. So, when you are first starting out, you may need to check on your equipment often to see if it needs maintenance more than once a year. It’s important to be checking these items not only so your equipment can last longer, but also for safety reasons. If you have any questions on the above, please ask!
