The past few weeks Lambda has been working at New Life Church along with PixelproLED to install LED walls in three different locations throughout the church. This last week was the install in the World Prayers Center. This building space is a big multipurpose room. One end of the room is lined with large windows letting in lots of light. As you can imagine, with all the light coming in the windows there was a lot of washout on their screen and projection system. It was made up for by a powerful projector, but there were still problems. PixelPro and Lambda came together to tackle this project to replace the hanging screen and projection with Pixelpro LED panels. First, we hung new rigging from the ceiling and created a free form frame to attach the panels to. Then, one by one, we placed the panels and began to wire them together. While Matt and Jed worked to place the panels, Trevor cleaned up the rack and ran cable. The LED panels look streamlined and neat. The adjustable lighting of the panels ensures that there is never any washout from the light coming through the windows even on the brightest of days. The crisp, clean image comes across without a problem. Working with New Life Church has been fun. We have two walls installed and one to go! We are excited to see the difference in how the church can display their images. These walls will provide the clear image they have needed and more opportunities for their AV team.
