At Lambda we have a lot of fun working with clients across the county and if you know us, you know that we have a passion for helping people get the most out of their AV system! We are all about getting equipment that will serve your specific purposes for many years. Usually, we show you fun gear and installs from our perspective, but we thought it might be interesting to show you things from another perspective. Questions you might be interested in when it comes to planning upgrades before you even begin working with us or just what other churches are doing. We will be showing you a few interviews over the next few months to hopefully answer some questions you might not have even thought to ask. We decided to do a quick interview with a long-time client to get their perspective on working with Lambda and how we were able to provide them with the tools they needed to grow! Summit Church is a mid-size church in Denver with a ton of life and energy. They did a major upgrade with us about a year ago so that the tech could really match what the church itself was already doing. Hopefully, this interview can give you a practical, realistic look at what it’s like to work with an AV Integrator for your business. How would you describe your role at Summit? “My job is to bring Pastor Rob Singleton's vision to life. I make sure the teams and processes are in place and moving forward in the right direction.”
How long were you looking for a solution/Integrator? And what were your criteria when making the decision to purchase? “I came on staff right as Summit Church was launching. At that time Ryan was already involved and working with the team. We had built a relationship with Lambda over several years and when it was time to do our overhaul we did not even look around at options. We chose to build on our existing relationship with Ryan and his team. We wanted the core of our setup to be flexible, high quality, and as future-proof as possible. We wanted to have an excellent experience in-person and online. We dreamed as big as possible and where budget didn’t allow, we carefully made tweaks. In the end, the result was still something we were excited about and proud of.” What are the positive changes you’ve seen, from your team or audience, about your upgrade? “Our team is excited and understands the privilege it is to be able to use all these tools to make an impact. Our community loves it, and our online engagement has exploded. Our team is inspired and proud to have the opportunity to serve at this level.” How would you have changed the buying process, if at all? “I really wouldn’t. I would cast the vision and the Lambda team would always bring the best solution for me they could. Like any big project, as things start coming together you find areas where you want to make changes and they always made it easy for me to do that.”
It's always fun to see new systems go in and use new gear, but it was fun to hear a different perspective on what the process of working with an AV Integrator was like for Summit. A big thanks to Andrew Serr and Summit Church for the interview and for letting us partner with you in your AV journey.
